If you run hybrid conferences and your company already uses Webex or Cisco products, pick Webex Events. One vendor for registration, delivery and reporting is the draw.
If your team is standardised on Zoom and your events are mostly online broadcasts, pick Zoom Webinars. Your hosts already know the interface.
This truly depends on your stack and the event format. Webex Events does not publish prices and may be bundled into select enterprise agreements. Zoom adds a per-host cost on top of its licence. For a small B2B team running only webinars, I'd also compare a lighter tool such as Livestorm before choosing either.

Choose Webex Events if…
Pick Webex Events if you run conferences with several tracks, a mix of in-person and virtual guests and a need to prove results to the business. It handles registration, ticketing, streaming and mobile apps on one platform, with analytics across session types.
It fits best in the Cisco ecosystem. If you use another meeting platform, check how registration, streaming and CRM data connect first.
Be ready for a sales process. There is no public price, so ask for a demo and a written quote, and ask what the public API covers. A full event platform takes more setup than a webinar tool.
Choose Zoom Webinars if…
Pick Zoom Webinars if your team already lives in Zoom and you need large online broadcasts such as lead-generation webinars, town halls or company announcements. It adds registration, polls, Q&A, recordings and AI-generated clips.
The Events tier covers multi-stage events, ticketing and sponsor features, but only if you pay for that tier. Simulive and AI event pages come with Webinars Plus.
Check how it will be priced, since it is per host on top of a Zoom licence. Skip it if you are not otherwise on Zoom, or if you need tight in-person and hybrid integration. Then compare an events platform.
