How I got here
Fifteen years of building growth for my own companies and for clients, one lesson at a time.
- 2010
Affiliate websites
My journey started with affiliate websites, where I learned to drive traffic with paid advertising and SEO. I jumped from tactic to tactic, without any structure.
- 2012
Seven online stores
We sold the affiliate websites and I co-founded an e-commerce holding with seven online stores. I took the CXL conversion optimisation traineeship and applied it to seven businesses at once.
- 2014
Smartphone insurance
As a partner in a smartphone insurance company I learned where the real value is: customers who stay longer and buy more over time.
- 2015
Teaching growth
I co-created the first growth training at The Talent Institute and taught every cohort for the decade after.

- 2016
NU.nl
Conversion optimisation for one of the largest national news platforms: A/B testing and data-driven decisions with a lot of traffic.
- 2018
Decathlon Netherlands
I joined the advisory board of Decathlon's e-commerce team in the Netherlands and saw how the growth engines work together in a large organisation.

- 2020
Head of Growth
Head of Growth for several B2B companies, applying my system across industries, and 100-day coaching programmes to see it work when others run it.
- Today
Solid Growth
Everything I learned, built into the operating system for an autonomous business.

“I do not believe in agencies you depend on forever. I build the infrastructure, train your team and hand it over. My job is to make myself redundant.”
I have worked with dozens of companies and trained over 1,500 marketers, and I see the same frustrations everywhere: hard work that does not add up, growth that hits a plateau, one tactic after another without a system behind it.
Why I am building Solid Growth: in every company the system lived in a few people's heads, and the decisions that ran it were thrown away. Written down, those decisions are exactly what AI needs to take over the work.
How I work
I take on a few clients at a time so I stay hands-on. If there is no fit I will say so and point you at the playbooks instead.
Strategy with systems, not just tactics
Tactics work when the system behind them is solid. Traffic feeds the funnel, the funnel fills the pipeline, and the pipeline validates the product. Without that infrastructure you are firefighting.
Continuous improvement beats big bets
One brilliant campaign will not save you. Small improvements across the whole business compound into exponential growth, and what I build is the rhythm your team runs them in.
Own the system, do not rent it
The system stays with you: your playbooks, your scorecard, your decisions.
The first 12 weeks with a client
Kick-off. The audit scores; we pick the first part to build.
Map. Write down how that part runs today; set the growth plan and the scorecard.
Build. Playbooks in place, the first AI employees take over repeatable steps, the weekly growth meeting starts.
Run. The scorecard every week; daily decisions teach the agents.
Review. What the machine now runs, and the next part for the next cycle.
Solid Growth is how I work, built as software
The rhythm, the playbooks and the decisions I used to carry from client to client now live in one system: the operating system for an autonomous business.
Every decision you log becomes fuel for AI employees that take over the work, one part of the business at a time. You set the direction. The machine grows.
A human is always in the loop
A second agent scores every output from 1 to 10; anything under 8 goes back before you see it.
Your content stays yours
Agents improve from decision metadata, never from customer content.
No investor money, ever
The build is funded by client work, and I own the company 100%.
