Integrations
Connect to other tools, directly or through automation platforms, so data can move without copying it by hand.

What it is
Integrations are the connections between the tool and the rest of your software. They can be built in, offered through a marketplace, or made possible by an automation service such as Zapier or Make, and by an open API for custom work. For example, a form tool sends each new response to your CRM and a Slack channel without anyone copying data across.
Why it matters
Few businesses use a single tool, so what a product connects to often matters more than its own features. A missing link means manual work or paid workarounds. A long list of integrations is less useful than a small number that work reliably with the tools you already use.
What to check
- Is the connection to each tool you use built in, or does it need an automation tool?
- Which data moves, and in which direction?
- Does the vendor offer an open API if no ready-made connection exists?
- Are the integrations you need included in the plan you are considering?
