OmniConvert
Why OmniConvert
OmniConvert is an ecommerce-focused conversion optimisation platform combining A/B testing, on-site surveys and web personalisation. Designed for online retailers, DTC brands and CRO teams who want to test pages, segment visitors and analyse customer lifetime value in one system. Recent additions include AI-driven experimentation and campaign execution capabilities.
What it does
Omniconvert is a family of products for ecommerce growth. Explore is the A/B testing and conversion optimisation platform: A/B and multivariate tests, a no-code experiment builder, website overlays, surveys and personalisation by customer segment. Pulse runs NPS and on-site feedback. Nexus is a newer AI growth engine for Shopify brands that finds opportunities, ranks them and builds campaigns for you to approve.
Why you would need it
The pain is guessing. A product page underperforms, and the team argues about the fix. Without a test you ship a change, see revenue move, and cannot say whether the change caused it.
Explore lets you split traffic, measure a goal and see which version wins. The surveys add the why, so you learn what visitors say about the page as well as what they click.
Where it fits
It sits on your storefront and reads from your analytics. Traffic and goals feed it. Winning variations go back into the store, and audiences and segments can be exported to ad platforms. It can replace separate tools for testing, overlays and on-site surveys.
It is aimed at ecommerce. Platforms listed on the site are Shopify, BigCommerce and Magento.
What stands out
- The Explore platform is free for up to 50,000 tested users each month, with pricing that scales with traffic after that.
- A visual editor for non-technical marketers and custom code for developers.
- Segmentation by many criteria, such as device, behaviour and campaign source.
- An official MCP server that exposes experiments and analytics to AI clients.
My take
In my experience the visual editor makes classic client-side tests easy to set up, and custom code covers the more complex ones. The overlays and surveys are useful for quick wins, such as an exit-intent offer. The interface can feel dated and cluttered once you have many experiments, and finding old results is not as easy as it could be.
I would pick it for an ecommerce team that wants to start a testing habit on a free tier. I would look elsewhere for full-stack, server-side experimentation in a complex B2B product. The roadmap leans toward ecommerce, so B2B teams have to translate some of the concepts.
Verdict
Pick Omniconvert if you run an online shop and want testing, overlays and surveys without a big upfront commitment. Skip it if your testing is mostly server-side in a SaaS product, or if you are a B2B team that needs a general experimentation platform.

Notes
Your note
Before you choose
Pricing follows tested users
Explore is free up to 50,000 tested users each month. After that, price scales with traffic in steps, and above a high volume it is custom. Annual billing is cheaper. Estimate your monthly tested users first, since that number sets the plan.

Ecommerce focus
Segments like RFM, features like product tests and Shopify tooling all assume a shop. For B2B lead generation or a SaaS product, VWO is the more general comparison, and enterprise experimentation suites sit above both.
Server-side takes more setup
Client-side tests are quick. Server-side testing needs more custom work and is not as plug and play as in tools built for it. If your tests run in the product itself, check what the SDKs cover before buying.
The product line is changing
The homepage now leads with Nexus, the AI growth engine, which is onboarding founding brands. Explore is the established product. Be clear about which one you are buying, and ask what is live today and what is on the roadmap.
Interface and reporting
The interface can feel cluttered at scale. Run the trial with a realistic number of experiments and look at how you find past results.
