Taplio
Why Taplio
Taplio is an AI-powered platform for LinkedIn growth that combines post creation, scheduling, audience engagement, analytics and lead generation in a single web app with a companion Chrome extension. The tool is built for creators, personal branders, B2B founders and agencies who want to build a professional presence and generate leads on LinkedIn. It works exclusively with LinkedIn.
What it does
Taplio is a LinkedIn growth tool. It combines an AI writer, a post scheduler and queue, an inspiration feed of high-performing posts, analytics and a light CRM for people who engage with you. It also has a Chrome extension that adds engagement data on top of LinkedIn. It works only with LinkedIn.
Why you would need it
Posting on LinkedIn consistently is hard. You stare at a blank page, miss weeks, and have no idea which topics work. For a founder or a consultant, LinkedIn is often the main source of warm leads, so gaps in posting cost real opportunities. People who like and comment on your posts also go unnoticed.
Taplio gives you drafts to start from, a queue that posts at good times, and a list of the people who engage. That moves the work from inventing to editing.
Where it fits
It sits at the top of your LinkedIn workflow. Ideas come from your own notes and the inspiration feed. Posts go to LinkedIn through the queue, and the analytics show what worked. The engagement list feeds your follow-up, which can be handled in its light CRM or passed to your own CRM by hand. It replaces LinkedIn's native scheduler and manual tracking of who engages. It does not cover other networks. For those, use a multi-network tool.
What stands out
- An AI writer and inspiration feed that remove the blank page.
- Scheduling and analytics that show topics and best times.
- A light CRM that lists people who like or comment on your posts.
- An official hosted MCP server, which lets Claude or ChatGPT draft and queue posts and comments.
My take
I first tried Taplio after struggling to post consistently on LinkedIn. Within a week I had four weeks of content drafted, scheduled and ready to go. The AI writer turns bullet points into usable copy, and I still edit every draft to add tone and detail. Scheduling was painless, and the analytics showed which topics resonated.
The light CRM was handy too, because it lists people who like or comment on my posts. I landed several demo calls by following up with those warm contacts. The downside is that the dashboard feels crowded at first, and the premium features raise the bill.
Verdict
Pick it when LinkedIn is a core channel and you will commit to consistent posting. Skip it when you manage several social networks, post rarely or want to stay fully hands-on. For several networks, compare Buffer or Hootsuite.
Notes
Your note
Before you choose
It only covers LinkedIn
Taplio works exclusively with LinkedIn. If you also need Instagram, X or Facebook, you need another tool next to it. Companies that manage several networks are better served by a multi-network scheduler such as Buffer, Publer or Metricool.

Automation can cross lines
The engagement features, such as auto-connecting, direct messages to warm leads and AI-drafted comments, are useful but can feel impersonal. Use them with care and keep a human in the loop. Read LinkedIn's rules on automation too, because account risk is yours. The MCP server drafts comments and queues them, and nothing posts until you confirm.
Plans and features
Taplio has no free plan, but a 7-day trial with full Pro access. The plan table I could find comes from the vendor's blog, not the pricing page, which is script-rendered, so confirm the plans on the live page. AI features and automation sit on the higher plans, so check which ones you need.
Alternatives to compare
Posting natively on LinkedIn is free, which is fine if you post rarely. Buffer, Hootsuite and Later handle several networks. SocialPilot suits agencies with client accounts.
