How to automate Framer

Native integrations

Framer connects to outside tools through its marketplace plugins, for example forms and ecommerce, and through Slack and GitHub for changes made outside the editor. One concrete idea: send a form submission to your CRM, such as HubSpot, and post a notification in Slack.

API and webhooks

The developer docs describe a Server API for bringing Framer into your product and automating publishing, and Fetch for building API endpoints that designers can use without code. One concrete idea: when an article is approved in your content system, the Server API creates the CMS item and publishes the site.

MCP server

There is no official Framer MCP server to rely on yet. The docs do describe External Agents, which connect Claude Code, Codex or Cursor to a Framer project. One concrete idea: ask your coding agent to update the pricing page copy from a brief and review the changes in the editor before you publish.
