Vitally
How to automate Vitally
Native integrations
Vitally lists more than 30 integrations that sync customer data in minutes without engineering help. The ones I would start with are the two-way HubSpot sync, Chargebee for subscription data, Gong for call briefs and Gmail for customer email.
An idea: turn a Gong next step into a Vitally task in one click, so follow-ups from calls stop living in notes.
API and webhooks
There is a REST API at your own subdomain, with endpoints for accounts and other objects. Use it to push data the integrations do not cover, such as a custom usage metric from your own product.
An idea: send a weekly usage count per account from your database through the API, and let a playbook fire when it falls.
MCP server
Vitally runs an official hosted MCP server, plus a read-only variant. It works with MCP clients such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and Claude has a Vitally connector in its directory. The server can answer questions about your customer data and create records such as tasks, notes and custom objects.
An idea: ask your AI client for the accounts with falling health and an upcoming renewal, then have it draft a task for each owner.
