How to automate Typeform

Native integrations

Connect Typeform to your CRM first. A concrete flow: a demo-request form creates or updates a contact in HubSpot, assigns an owner, and sends a message to Slack. You can also collect payments with Stripe or schedule meetings with Calendly inside a form.

API and webhooks

The Create API builds forms, themes and images from code. The Responses API fetches submissions on demand, and the Webhooks API delivers each submission to your URL as it arrives. Use a webhook to send answers straight into your own database, with hidden fields to carry campaign data.

MCP server

Typeform has an official MCP server at api.typeform.com/mcp, using OAuth 2.0, with Claude and ChatGPT connectors also available. It exposes form building, automations, contacts and response analytics, and capabilities depend on your plan. Connect Claude and ask which question loses the most people.

No-code automation

Zapier is a listed integration, and Typeform's Growth Flow adds its own automations with email, webhook, delay and integration steps. Use Zapier to log submissions in Google Sheets or to create tasks in your project tool.
