SavvyCal
Why SavvyCal
SavvyCal is a meeting scheduling tool that replaces the usual pick-a-day-then-a-time page with a week view. The person booking can overlay their own calendar, and you can rank the times you prefer. It also offers meeting polls and team scheduling, and it suits sales, recruiting and consulting teams that book many meetings.
What it does
SavvyCal gives you scheduling links. You share a link, the other person picks a time, and the meeting lands on both calendars. What differs from most tools is the interface: a week view in which the invitee can overlay their own calendar events on top of your availability.
Behind that sit controls for protecting your time, such as buffers, limits, time blocking and ranked availability, where you mark the slots you would rather fill first.
Why you would need it
The pain is the back and forth. Two people trade four emails to find a slot, or one of them gives up and picks the wrong time. A basic booking page solves part of it, but invitees still flip between tabs to check their own calendar.
The overlay removes that step. The invitee sees your free times and their own commitments in one view, so they pick a time that works the first time.
Where it fits
It sits between your calendar and the people who want time with you. Google Calendar or another calendar feeds it availability, and bookings go back to the calendar, to your video tool and to your CRM. It replaces a generic booking page, or the email thread.
It has three team modes: collective, round robin and group. That covers shared availability across colleagues, spreading meetings across a pool, and one slot for several attendees.
What stands out
- Calendar overlay and a week view that make booking easier for the other side.
- Meeting polls, which stay free to use on any account.
- Time defence: ranked availability, frequency limits, time blocking and buffers.
- Workflows and reminders, and on the Premium plan custom domains, delegated access and paid bookings.
My take
I would choose SavvyCal when the person booking is a prospect, a candidate or a client, and the first impression of your booking page matters. The invitee experience is the strongest part.
It is priced per user, and there is no free plan for scheduling links. If you only need a simple page for a solo use case, a cheaper tool is enough. If you want to compare options, look at Cal.com.
Verdict
Pick it when you book a lot of meetings with people outside the company and want them to find a time in one step. Skip it when you need a free plan, or when a simple booking page already works for you.
Notes
Your note
Before you choose
No free plan for links
You can sign up and set up your account for free, and meeting polls are free to use. To activate scheduling links for other people you need a paid plan. A refund is available in the first thirty days, so you can test it with real bookings.

What sits on the Premium plan
Custom domains, delegated access, custom sending domains, removal of the SavvyCal branding and paid bookings sit above the Basic plan. If any of these matter to you, compare the plan tables before you choose.
Priced per user
Every host needs a seat. For a large sales team the cost adds up, so count the people who really need their own link, and see whether team links can cover the rest.
Alternatives to compare
Calendly is the best-known option, so it is the first comparison to make. Cal.com and Lemcal are two more scheduling tools to check against it.
