Salesloft
Why Salesloft
Combines sales engagement cadences, conversation intelligence, deal management and revenue forecasting in one workspace for B2B teams. It connects to your CRM to sync activity and customer data. Now part of the Clari group, exposing revenue data to external AI tools via an MCP server.
What it does
Salesloft is a sales engagement and revenue platform. Its Cadence product runs multi-step outreach, Conversation Intelligence analyses recorded calls, Deals and Inspect help you review the pipeline, and Rhythm ranks what each rep should do next. It is now part of the Clari group, and forecasting comes from Clari Forecast.
On top of that it adds analytics and AI agents, plus an MCP server so outside AI tools can use its revenue data.
Why you would need it
Reps without a system spend the day deciding what to do. They send uneven follow-ups, forget deals and write notes after the call, if at all. Managers then forecast from gut feeling and a CRM full of gaps.
Salesloft gives each rep a ranked list of actions and a structured sequence for outreach. Managers get call insight and deal risk in one place. If your problem is consistent execution across several reps, this is the kind of tool that addresses it.
Where it fits
Salesloft sits on top of your CRM. Its site shows connections to Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot. The CRM stays the record of accounts and deals, while Salesloft handles the activity around them.
It can replace a separate sequencing tool, a call recorder and a forecasting spreadsheet. It overlaps with Gong on call analysis, with Clari on forecasting and with Apollo on outbound sequences.
What stands out
- One platform across the sales cycle. Outreach, calls, deals and forecasts share the same data.
- A ranked work list. Rhythm tells reps what to do next, which is useful when the team is new to a process.
- Revenue signals. Salesloft collects signals across your tools and uses them to suggest next steps.
- An MCP server. Its AI agents page describes an official MCP server, so assistants such as Claude can work with your revenue context.
My take
Salesloft is a serious platform for teams, and it is built that way. The value depends on two things you control: a clean CRM and a sales process you can describe. If both are in place, a platform that ties activity, calls and forecasts together saves real management time.
If they are not, no tool will fix it. Since pricing is only on request, I'd also push for a clear list of which modules are in the quote. The platform now spans several products, and it is easy to pay for more than you use.
Verdict
Pick Salesloft when you run a structured B2B outbound motion with several reps and a CRM you trust. Skip it when you are a founder selling alone or a small team that needs a simple sequencer. A lighter tool will do that job with less setup.
Notes
Your note
Before you choose
Pricing only on request
Salesloft publishes no prices. Its pricing page leads to a conversation with sales. Get the quote in writing with the modules named, and ask what changes when you add seats or products.

It depends on a clean CRM
Salesloft reads and writes to your CRM. If lead ownership, stages and contact data are messy, the ranked work list and the forecast will be messy too. Fix the CRM first.
A lot of platform for a small team
Cadence, calls, deals, forecasting and agents are built for teams with managers and RevOps. A solo seller will use a small part of it. Apollo or a CRM sequencer may be enough.
Product changes after the Clari merger
Salesloft now includes Clari, Drift and Groove products. Ask your account manager which of these are included in your plan and how login and data sync work between them.
