Native integrations

Install Postscript from the Shopify App Store and it works from your store data. It connects with Klaviyo, so you can use Klaviyo lists and email activity to build SMS segments.

Automation idea: send an SMS to subscribers who clicked an email but did not buy, using the Klaviyo click activity as the filter.

API and webhooks

Postscript has public API documentation for its v2 API, a JavaScript SDK, and webhooks for events such as subscriber lifecycle changes and collected emails. Professional and above include API access.

Automation idea: when a subscriber opts out, receive the webhook and update the contact in your CRM so sales stops texting them as well.

No-code automation

There is a documented Zapier integration, and the API guide also covers how to use Zapier with it. Use it to add subscribers from a form or event tool.

Automation idea: when someone registers for a launch event, a Zap adds them as a subscriber so they get a reminder text before it starts.
