Prompts tracked (entry plan)

What it is
In AI visibility tools, a prompt is a question or request that the tool sends regularly to AI answer engines, such as asking for the best accounting software for a small business. The tool records the answers, shows whether your brand is mentioned and compares you with competitors. The number of prompts tracked is the limit on how many questions you can monitor on the entry plan. Higher plans normally raise the limit.
Why it matters
The limit decides how much of your market you can watch. Twenty prompts may cover one product in one country, while several products, regions and languages need many more. It matters when you compare tools, because a low limit at the entry level can push you onto a higher plan sooner than expected. It matters less if you only want a rough sense of your visibility on a few key questions. Some tools also count each engine and country separately, which uses the allowance faster.
What to check
- Does the limit count each prompt once, or once per engine, country and language.
- How often does the tool re-run prompts, and can you change that.
- Can you swap prompts in and out, or are they fixed after you add them.
- What happens when you reach the limit, and what does the next plan up include.
