How to automate Publer
Native integrations
Publer connects to Canva, Google Drive, Dropbox, Unsplash, Bitly and WordPress. Start with Canva or Google Drive so your designs land in the media library without downloading files. An idea: keep a shared Drive folder for approved images and pull from it when you batch the week's posts.
API and webhooks
Publer has a REST API with JSON, bearer-token authentication and a workspace header. You can create, schedule and publish posts, upload media, list accounts and read post analytics. It is only available on Business and Enterprise. Posts can also carry callbacks. An idea: when a blog post goes live in your CMS, create a draft post for each network through the API so a person only has to review it.
MCP server
Publer lists an official MCP connection for AI assistants, and its integrations page names both Claude and ChatGPT. It is a Business and Enterprise feature. An idea: ask an assistant to turn last month's best posts into a set of drafts for next month, and approve each one in Publer before it goes out.
No-code automation
Publer has a Zapier integration. A simple flow: when a new row appears in a Google Sheets content plan, create a scheduled post in Publer. Another: when a new article is published, add it to the queue with the right labels.
