How to automate Polar

API and webhooks

Polar has a public API, SDKs, an OAuth 2.0 option and webhooks for purchases, subscription changes and customer events. One concrete idea: listen for a subscription webhook and grant or remove access to the matching account in your app.

MCP server

Polar hosts an official MCP server with OAuth sign-in, plus a sandbox server for testing. It exposes about 100 operations through three meta tools that search, describe and execute them. One concrete idea: ask an agent in Claude to find a customer and list their active subscriptions.

Native integrations

Benefits connect to GitHub and Discord. Framework adapters wire checkout and webhooks into your stack. One concrete idea: when someone buys, invite them to a private GitHub repository automatically.
