Affiliate signup and dashboard portal

What it is
A self-signup portal is a hosted page where prospective affiliates apply to join your programme, plus a login area they use afterwards. Inside that area they see their personal links, the clicks and sales they have generated and what they have earned. You do not have to send them spreadsheets or answer questions about their results. FirstPromoter, Post Affiliate Pro, Rewardful, Tapfiliate and Tolt are listed with this feature.
Why it matters
If partners cannot see their own results, they ask you for them, and partners who cannot see results lose interest. A portal also removes the manual work of adding each new affiliate by hand. You need one as soon as you want affiliates to join without your involvement, or when several partners ask for updates. If your programme is an invitation-only arrangement with a handful of partners, a monthly email summary may do.
What to check
- Ask whether you can approve or reject applications, or whether everyone is accepted automatically.
- Test the signup form yourself and check which details it collects and whether you can add your own questions.
- Check what affiliates can see in the dashboard, including pending, approved and paid commissions.
- Find out whether you can add your own terms and branding to the signup page.
