How to automate Dust
Native integrations
Connect the sources your team actually asks questions about: Slack, Notion, Google Drive, GitHub, Salesforce and Zendesk are all listed. One idea: build a support agent that reads your help articles and past tickets, and drafts a reply that a person checks before sending.
API and webhooks
Dust has a public API. The reference lists agents, conversations and data sources, and documents an export of usage analytics. Read the reference for the full list of endpoints before you plan around a specific one. Use the usage export to see which agents burn the most credits.
MCP server
There is no official MCP server that exposes Dust yet. The docs describe Dust acting as an MCP client, which means agents can use other MCP servers as tools. Leave this sub-section aside until Dust publishes a server of its own.
