Confluence connects with Jira, Figma, GitHub, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams and Loom through the Atlassian Marketplace. Link your Jira epics from the spec page so progress is visible in the doc.

API and webhooks

Atlassian provides a Confluence Cloud REST API (v2) at developer.atlassian.com. Check the API reference for webhook details. Use the API to create a meeting-notes page from a template each week, or to export pages for backup.

MCP server

Atlassian runs an official remote Rovo MCP server that covers Confluence, Jira and more, at mcp.atlassian.com/v2/mcp. Connect an AI assistant to search your documentation and draft a page from a Jira ticket.

Built-in automation

Confluence has its own automation features, and Rovo agents can handle tasks inside the workspace. Use them for repeat jobs such as a weekly status page.
