Keap vs Omnisend

Keap logovsOmnisend logo
Keap runs the sales workflow of a small service business, from lead to invoice. Omnisend runs email, SMS and push campaigns for online stores and has a free plan.

The verdict

For a small B2B or service team, I'd pick Keap. It holds the deals, the bookings and the payments, and Omnisend has no sales pipeline to build on.

If you run an online store, I'd pick Omnisend. The flows start from shopper behaviour, the migration service moves your lists and templates from another platform, and the free plan lowers the cost of trying it.

Check how each price grows. Keap has a single plan priced by contact count, with an early termination fee on annual contracts. Omnisend plans also scale with contacts, and SMS is billed per message at rates that change by country. Estimate your list at today's size and at double.

Who each is for

Keap logo

Choose Keap if…

Pick Keap when you sell services and the real problem is that each step of the sale lives in a different tool. Form, email, calendar, invoice and chasing payment all sit in one system, tied to the contact record.

Appointments, quotes, invoices and payment links are part of the product, and a Business Line gives you a number for calls and texts. SMS is an add-on to the automations.

It does not suit everything. If your goal is advanced segmentation and email design, a specialist such as ActiveCampaign or Brevo may fit better. Larger teams with several departments may outgrow it and move to HubSpot or Salesforce.

Omnisend logo

Choose Omnisend if…

Pick Omnisend when you run a small or mid-sized online store that wants email, SMS and web push in one account.

Email and SMS consent live on the same contact record, so flows can use both. Support by live chat and email runs around the clock on every plan, including the free one. There are more than 295 pre-built integrations, and higher plans add product recommendations based on browsing and purchase behaviour.

The free plan caps contacts, monthly emails and push notifications, and it excludes SMS. Treat it as a trial that does not expire. Omnisend is built around e-commerce, so a service business with long sales cycles will want a CRM-led tool instead.
