Albacross
Why Albacross
Albacross identifies which companies browse your website and tracks their behaviour across pages and content types. It reveals which materials engage prospects most, helping you spot warm sales opportunities. Use this insight to time outreach and personalise your messaging based on real, demonstrated account interest.
What it does
Albacross identifies which companies visit your website, even when nobody fills in a form. It scores their buying intent from behaviour on and off your site, adds company data and groups them into segments by buying stage. It can then start email and LinkedIn outreach to people at those companies.
Why you would need it
Most visitors leave without a trace. A forty-page browse by a target account shows up in your analytics as an anonymous session, and a sales rep never sees it. The only leads you know about are the few who fill in a form.
Company-level identification closes part of that gap. You see that a named company read your pricing page three times this week, and you can act while the interest is fresh.
How a team would use it
Sales picks the accounts that matter and builds a segment, for example companies in a given size range that look at pricing or integration pages. Each morning the team checks which of them visited, who showed the highest intent, and who has not been contacted yet. The signal also helps marketing: if a target account keeps reading one article, that article deserves a follow-up sequence.
Where it fits
It sits between your website analytics and your CRM. It names integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google Sheets. It adds company-level signal to your CRM, and for a small team it can replace a separate outreach tool.
What stands out
- Company identification from your own web traffic, with intent scoring and segments.
- Firmographic data on every company it names.
- Outreach built in, so a signal can turn into an email or LinkedIn sequence.
- Alerts in Slack or Microsoft Teams, and export to Google Sheets and CSV.
- A free trial that needs no card.
My take
I would use Albacross when you sell to a defined set of companies and your site gets enough traffic to reveal them. The simple version of the idea is a good one: know which accounts are interested without asking them to fill in anything.
It identifies companies, not individual visitors, and that shapes how you use it. I would treat each hit as a reason to look at the account, not as proof of a buyer. The best test is the trial: see how many real, relevant companies it names from your own traffic.
Verdict
Pick it when you do account-based sales to B2B companies and your site has steady visits. Skip it when your traffic is small or mostly consumers, because there will be little to identify.
Notes
Your note
Before you choose
It names companies, not people
You learn which company visited, not who. You still need to find the right person, either through the built-in outreach or a contact data tool. Plan for that step.

Limits on the lower plans
The number of identified companies is limited on the smaller plans, and the HubSpot integration sits on the middle plan. Salesforce, API and webhooks sit on the top plan. Match the plan to the systems you use before you start.
Privacy and consent
Identifying visitors involves tracking. Check how it works with your cookie consent setup and with the privacy rules in the countries you sell to, and involve whoever owns privacy in your company.
Alternatives to compare
Leadinfo and Dealfront do similar visitor identification, and 6sense goes much further into intent data for larger teams.
