How to automate tl;dv
Native integrations
Connect your calendar, then your CRM. A good first automation: after every sales call, tl;dv logs the summary and next steps on the right HubSpot contact, and posts the summary in a Slack channel for the account team. For product work, send bugs and to-dos from meetings to Jira or ClickUp.
API and webhooks
The tl;dv API (v1alpha1) lets you list meetings and fetch transcripts and notes, using an API key. It also has webhooks for two events: MeetingReady and TranscriptReady. Use TranscriptReady to send the transcript to your own pipeline, for example to tag objections or pull out feature requests.
MCP server
tl;dv's own blog describes a hosted, read-only MCP server with sign-in through OAuth, available from the Pro plan upwards. Connect it to Claude and ask what was promised on a call, or which calls this month mentioned a competitor. Nothing in the toolset can edit or delete a recording.
No-code automation
Zapier connects tl;dv to thousands of apps. Use it for the cases the native integrations do not cover, such as adding each meeting summary as a row in Google Sheets for a weekly review.
