API and webhooks

The Gemini API is the main way in. Call it from your own code, from a serverless function or from a workflow tool. A concrete use: when a support ticket arrives, send the text to Gemini to classify urgency and draft a first reply, then write both back to the ticket.

MCP server

There is no official MCP server that lets you call Gemini models. Google does publish a documentation search MCP server, which helps coding agents look up the Gemini API while they write code for you. That is useful when you build with it, but it is not a way to run the models.
