Reusable global blocks

What it is
A reusable global block is a section of a page that you build once and drop into many pages. Typical examples are a header with your logo and navigation, a footer with legal links, a lead form or a row of customer testimonials. In the better versions the block stays linked to its original, so changing the phone number in one place changes it on every page that uses the block. Instapage, Leadpages and Unbounce are examples of tools that offer reusable sections.
Why it matters
Teams that run many landing pages quickly end up with the same elements repeated everywhere. Updating a changed address, a new logo or a revised privacy link by hand across dozens of pages takes time and always leaves a few pages behind. Linked blocks remove that chore and keep pages consistent, which also protects the brand.
You need this when you manage more than a handful of pages or several people build pages. For a single page or a one-off campaign, copying and pasting is fine.
The detail that matters is whether a block is linked or merely copied. A copied block saves building time but gives no help when something changes later.
What to check
- Does editing the saved block update every page using it, or only new pages.
- Can you detach a block on one page for a special case without breaking the link elsewhere.
- Can blocks be shared across workspaces or client accounts, or only within one.
- Is there a way to see which pages use a block before you change it.
